We are an Independent, Fundamental Baptist Church that has been in existence since 1923. A.A. Pruett who was called of God and had a
burden for souls in the Tennessee area started Edgewood Baptist Church back in 1923 at the edge of the woods in Chattanooga, TN.

For 84 years Edgewood has been known for the Church located at 27^th street in Chattanooga.  Over those years God truly has blessed the
church and the people. The church began to realize in order for the Lord to expand their coast and allow them to do more for God, they needed
to relocate the church from it’s location of 84 years.

Through much prayer and leading from God. The Lord blessed the church with a wonderful location and room to GROW, for which he intended
for his church to do in this day and age. The church is now located at 3604 Ringgold Road, still in Chattanooga, TN with the opportunity to reach
more families and touch more lives with God’s direction and empowerment.

The vision and goal of the members of Edgewood is to reach the lost souls in and around the city of Chattanooga.
